This series of lino and woodcuts are inspired by ’The Shore’ apartments on Westcliff seafront and its surroundings. Living in close proximity to the building I am constantly engaged in the shapes it creates against an ever-changing sky, as both the new and old architecture are juxtaposed. One of these prints, ’The Shore & Leas’, was shortlisted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 2019.
