The Crow Stone is a boundary stone which formerly marked the limits of London city law. Also known as Crowstone or City Stone it stands on the mud at the bottom of Crowstone Avenue in Chalkwell (Southend-on-Sea). It was first put here around 1755 and replaced with this newer stone in 1837, the original smaller stone has been moved to Priory Park.
